For the pediatric waiting area, we leaned into a space-inspired concept designed to captivate visitors of all ages. Moon-textured carpet and wallpaper create the illusion of walking on a lunar surface, while pendant lights resemble an astronaut’s helmet visor. A large moon lamp anchors the room with a touch of wonder. Recognizing that many patients with chronic eye conditions continue seeing their pediatric ophthalmologist into adulthood, we intentionally designed the space to feel inclusive—not just for children, but for teens and adults, too.
